Tender Cuts was founded in April 2012 by a father and son duo, Victor and Shaun Slat, who each brought years of experience in the meat industry—30 and 15 years, respectively. Their journey began as employees, fueling a lifelong dream of owning and operating their own butcher shop. Tragically, after a brief battle with cancer, Victor passed away in November 2014, leaving Shaun to steer the business alone. Honoring his father's legacy, Shaun and his diligent team at Tender Cuts are dedicated to providing top-quality meat selections. Proudly serving the Port Colborne and Fort Erie communities, we have established strong partnerships with local businesses and charities. In today's market with countless products and an increasing focus on healthy eating, our mission is to supply superior quality meats at affordable prices.
